Food, as a whole, should not be sold at a profit. Profiting off a basic human necessity is a fucked up thought. Like selling water for a profit. A just society would sell food to itself at cost, at MOST.

Can't and won't are two different things. The idea one can sue because someone's prices are "too low" is about as anti-Capitalist as you can get. Businesses have gone soft and no longer wish to compete.

yeah this is the point. they said "can't" when they really mean "won't" because corporations price gouge and we're sick of being price gouged so if you want to keep your pretty little corporation, you can lower your prices. corporate c-suite people don't need the bonuses and stock options and income that they receive yearly, so that's where that money can come from to keep your pretty little corporation afloat!

They take money from you (taxes) to open a store to sell you stuff and say it's cheaper? Eliminate the taxes and then open the grocery store...... that's right you can't because you need money to open the store.
