Ziikeo was riding a bicycle eastbound when he was struck by a 2021 Nissan Sentra traveling in the same direction. He was subsequently struck by a 2018 Dodge Ram traveling westbound. Westfield firefighters responded to the scene, where Ziikeo was pronounced deceased. Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. In an especially heartbreaking detail shared by local community news platform Grizzy's Hood News, Ziikeo's mother unknowingly drove past the blocked-off crash scene on her way to work that morning, never knowing that her second-born son was the victim. They were searching for him, hoping he would return home safely, while the heartbreaking reality was that he had already lost his life. 🚲 Important Family Notice Ziikeo's family is asking the community for assistance in locating his missing bicycle, as well as any surveillance or dashcam footage from the area on the morning of the crash.
