I feel and hear you and disagree with everyone telling you to change your perspective. No. If it’s worship, then there is no other perspective to consider but HIS. Not our needs, or desires.If it was a concert with ticket sales then it should be called that vs a worship night and folks really need to stop playing in God’s face.We gather to honor Him dassit dassall. And tbh the two names would be the immediate indicator to me of what this night would be so not surprised at all to hear your takeaway. Please don’t downplay your concern about the literal purpose of worship bc you love your church. Truth is truth and we will answer to Him. Was HE pleased? Or was this a show with His name slapped on it? 🤍🙏🏾

It was literally a concert, so if you’re looking for a more contained worship experience, I would think the service would be the place for that. 🤍 I just wish we could move away from the mindset of feeling like we have to rate every experience or provide a think piece on what could have been better. Sometimes, we have to look beyond our own expectations and consider that that praise night may have been the only piece of Jesus someone experienced. If someone left feeling closer to Him, encouraged, or reminded of His love, maybe that was the purpose. Everything doesn’t have to be critiqued. Sometimes we can simply be grateful for the opportunity to worship together and allow God to meet people where they are. 🙏🏽

Fellow Heal Houser here! Because the event was made public and there were two very known artists coming, we had people from all walks of life attend. People who are at different stages in their faith. With that, there will be some who don’t know how to navigate a space like that (like talking during prayer or as you said kiki-ing) . I saw and met SO many people that don’t attend Heal House or even church in general.. and I think that was one of the points of that night — to have a worship night where people of all walks and in all stages can come. To some of those, that could have been their first time attending a church ever or in a very long time. Yes, some did come for the artist and not necessarily to worship the Lord, but we see this even with people coming to Sunday service to see specific pastors. Jesus meets us where we’re at and even when intentions may not start in the best place, as we know our God has the power to reach those even when they least expect it 🤍🤍🤍

I most definitely agree with the other comments on changing your perspective and being okay with people from different walks of life. I personally went as a me & Jesus type of date plus Chandler and Todd Galberth are my top favorites worship artist and it was literally ONLY $15. I recorded, cried, forgave myself and other people as well as enjoyed my favorite worship songs that get me through. I’ve been replaying those recordings just re-living the experience so I’m sure others are doing the same. I was also prepared for it to be the way it was just because their last worship night had over 2,000 people + plus they are well known so I immediately went as close to the front as possible and had a blast the energy/atmosphere was amazing with all the people somewhat near the stage.

I would challenge a different perspective. everything is about living out our lives to follow and lead others to Jesus. While there may have been talking there were wayyt more people worshipping. Not to mention people who chose Jesus for the first time. its OK everything is OK be blessed not everyone is at the same level

Yeah I totally understand where you’re coming from because I was the same way too BUT I had to come to the realization of the difference between an intimate worship setting vs a praise night with big known artists. Unfortunately some people, not all, just don’t have consideration in regard that people are actually there to worship too and not see the artists. Your expectation for the night was set for a diff atmosphere and that’s okay.

I don't want to come off judgmental. I just care about the atmosphere in worship. For me, it's a place to focus on God, to show reverence and respect. People can do what they want, but if someone comes to meet with the Lord, it's good to be mindful of that.

hello dear sister.[Red heart] So I understand your perspective fully and want to offer some insight. I have visited Heal House for months and love Kj and Kirahs leadership. I serve at another ministry that had a different need that God pulled me into and thats the only reason I havent been recently. KJ, is very well known in music and ministry and he is connected to ALOT of known artists. People attend these events for various reasons, some come to just sit in the presence of the Father and hear, and others come because they want to just be in the same room with a KJ, a TODD, and a CHANDLER. and while I agree that people often invest more time " capturing" the moment than being transformed by it... that is out of our control. I come for the Savior, his message, his presence, his truth because thats the only name that will sustain me. Anything can become a distraction if we let it. I close my eyes and open my heart, and let God do whatever we wants. [Pray]
