I’m on the side that doesn’t want game connections because people will just whine about the castings

This movie is in an alternate universe. It’s not possible for the main character to interact with other main RE characters.

if there's a sequel I would love to see Leon hear the commotion happening from the first movie lol

Apollo :
Best part for me is knowing that his girlfriend is out there and her character can be the sequel. She comes to Raccoon City to look for Bryan during the entire outbreak, her begging Leon to help her save Bryan can be a fantastic plot.

Jade Davina :
why can people not wrap their heads around the fact that he created an alternate universe version of the outbreak that feels like playing the games? i don’t think he ever said he would remain 100% faithful to the lore and every time someone brings up a quote where he supposedly said it, there’s context missing every single time. yall are not happy with ANYTHING.

SHOULDNT HAVE FUCKING MADE IT THEN, he made a perfect re movie without it being in resident evil, im losing mu fucking mind, all he had to do was be like "this movie takes place in fucking Milwaukee" and its cannon, but nooooooooo it had to racoon city, he had to jingle the keys enough for people to watch it when in reality he has was it takes on his own to make a cannon re film
