@onefortyfour_: The kiddos thought we were waking them up for their first day of school. So I turned off all clocks and alarms and made them appear two hours ahead so they wouldnt know the time! We drove to the airport. Packed their backpacks as their personal bags for travel. Khaled works near the airport so the drive there wasnt abnormal. We just told them that Baba needed to get a new pass. Parked the car. Gave them their bags. And shuttled over to the airport. Once we got there we surprised them with their cousins arriving at the airport also and the rest is history! Truly the highlight of our trip. Seeing their faces beam with happiness was a privilege. Alhamdulillah. One day theyll know that mama and baba are living for the first time too. I remind them of their privilege everyday so they never take it for granted. May Allah swt give you what you pray for and dream of. Work hard and leave the rest to God/Allah swt. We originally wanted to spend our hard earned money on a trip to to show the boys their home but that didnt work out because of everything happening. Its just not safe and very unpredictable and how privileged are we to have that choice. Free every oppressed person in this world. Free Palestine. Free lebanon. Free all of us from this dunya. Anyway. We decided wed spend it on an All inclusive and as a Mama, vou know thats always worth it. Alhamdulillah. Subhanallah
