they need to have an option that says "cancel due to driver discrimination/negligence" and then you explain what happened and can add any photos or videos as evidence.

Lyft and Uber drivers need to not stop. As soon as they see the pet keep going and cancel for another reason. Uber Pet is always an option.

Everyone is talking about all these reasons they don’t want dogs in their car… the driver can choose not to take the customer before the ride starts through the app.. he knew there was a dog when accepting the ride and showed up just to deny his ride

Lyft should fix the app to recognize that they arrived to the destination, make both driver and passenger confirm pick up, and if the driver drives away without the confirmation of the passenger esp when notified of a service dog theyre auto penalized and deactivated.

as an Uber driver who 99% of the time interacts with Uber on his touch screen inside the car, I'll tell you right now Uber does not tell us that you have a dog. we have to open up the app in our phone and look at detailed notes while driving to see that. and a lot of times when we get ride requests it's while we're in the middle of driving a passenger. I'm not going to pick up my phone and interact with my phone to read details of the next ride while I have a passenger. it's not safe, it's not allowed by Uber. do you have any idea how many times I have agreed to pick up someone while dropping somebody off on the touch screen in my car and did not know that it was a scheduled pickup and I ended up being 45 minutes to an hour earlier than I needed to be? they don't tell me that there's a service dog or any animal or extra passenger until I stop and look at the notes on my phone

Lyft dont supply the vehicle. Lyft dont get to decide for them. my car my rules and rule 1 is no animals unless you want to give me a car pay the insurance and to clean it you dont get to decide who I let in it.
