If overtime isn’t considered for home loans it shouldn’t be considered for child supporter either. Overtime isn’t sustainable or guaranteed to continue regularly

My ex wife took me back to court. Tried going after my overtime. Keep in mind her salary doubled since we got divorced and mine is the same. Judge sided with me and forced her to pay my lawyer fees on top of her lawyer fees so she knows what it’s like to write a check to me like I do every month to her. Judge also scolded her that she wasted the court time with this nonsense. Now that’s a good judge.

Overtime should never be calculated into child support. Overtime varies sometimes you might have a lot. Sometimes you might have none. You can’t base with someone is supposed to pay someone else off of hours that differentiate. He probably needs the overtime hours so that he can afford to pay his own bills after child support and taxes

That’s suppose to be illegal. Only income that can be considered is the guaranteed income I.e. 49 hr per week check of the highest paying source of income. Additional lesser income and overtime DO NOT APPLY. That judge is skimming for himself or someone else.

And that's how the government makes a deadbeat father. I'm a woman and I get child support, If I take my kids dad to court, I know the court will oder him to give me at least 400 more. But then he won't have much left for himself, So I don't. We agreed on a certain amount and he makes more an hour than me.

Even if you get a second job or even a 3rd job guess what? They will take that too which leave you absolutely NO TIME with the kid(s) there is no benefit to marriage or having kids .. trust me I wish I knew better so I’m spreading this message in hopes to get young men’s attention on this situation.. ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!
