Yes . . Absolutely Mel Gibson is a great actor and director among many other accolades. . But let’s not minimize the actors whose realistic performances made the film. When you watch you felt you were there in the past and everything was believable. Applause to the director but also to the great actors that gave us their all.

I find it interesting that Europeans didn't bring civilization. They already had civilization. The Aztecs may have had magical thinking in regard to cosmic movements, but they had a lot of engineering & intuitive nutritional flow knowledge
