@kyle.dubya: How lucky am I that during June 2018 my friend Brandon and I took a backpacking trip through Barcelona, Paris, and then a couple spots in Italy. We stayed in the cheapest hostels we could find from hostelworld.com and we def took roads less traveled and that has made all the difference. The absolute worst hostels ever and but hey we look back on it with such fondess and it was meant to happen and we can only understand how the dots connect when looking backwards after the fact. Ended up having one of the most fun and memorable nights from meeting randoms ppl in one of the Paris hostels. We went out, club hopped and missed the last train back to the hostel and we got lost in translation en route back so much that it became such a fun core memory and I knew when we were running around the metro for a subway that wasn’t coming that this is just such unique fun experience. I still recall a special moment where I was mid run thinking how this is only could have happened the way it did. So grateful for the opportunity and chance to experience this life and trip.
