I’d always pick a big chain, I like the premier inn and they do the hubs now which are cheaper and good if solo

I always stay further out. Premier Inn in Sidcup is currently £87 for the night. Right by the station & 20 mins to London Bridge. Appreciate you might want to be more central but savings are huge and it’s not a long journey.

one of my first solo trip was to London! I arrived late at night and it has been the most scare moment in all my life traveling around the world 😳:( but the city was beautiful and I enjoyed a lot then🥰

ive heard there's attachments you can get for hotel room doors that make it so they cant be opened from the outside or some people put a doorstop under the door if that helps you feel safer
