She has been excited about this for months… 😞 backstory ::: Kay and I were so excited for NYFW this year, because we were part of a big event with our small business! We flew our team in, got everything sent to be set up. And on the morning of the event at around 3am, the contractor that was in charge of setting everything up decided to stop working and stole over $100k worth of props and more, and left. So when we showed up early to get the finishing touches done, we were surprised to see our bags being hauled in and out. We went up to the 2nd floor where a giant airport themed event was supposed to be built and it was just a bunch of boxes and left over supplies. All the work had been undone and the event was ruined. Worse than that, there was no way of getting the money back that we put into the event. 🥺 So we were left with nothing… I feel so bad for Kay because she has been excited for this and has been working on it for months… She was sad because it was my birthday on top of all of this. 😞 We got some of the stuff and are going to find some creative ways to use it while we are still here. Maybe one day we will be able to do the event again next year, but for now we have lost that money 😭 #kayandtayofficial #couples #relationships
