my BiL has been staying with us off and on recently to help get hi. back on his feet and he was standing in our bedroom door talking about something with my hubs and a dagger hubs found while dumpster diving, and has been on a nail on the wall since he found it a couple years ago, flew off the wall. we were all like wtf. then this morning, I was sitting in the bed, about to lay down and heard a ting ting ting coming from my bedside table. turned and looked and it was the chain you use to turn on the lamp. it was moving back and forth, tapping the metal lamp. nothing was touching it. I flipped out.

Even moving it if the gears are not moving it shouldn't be doing that... my mom still has an antique full grandfather clock from my great grandparents given to my grandma then to my mom when my grandma passed and unless we wind it with the key it will not work or make a sound... I'm sorry you're clock is haunted😬😱😬😱

Maybe it isn't as bad as you think. Maybe whomever owned it , loves that you left it as is and moved it into your personal space. 3 years later and at 3:15 it stopped. That makes me think.

My brother has an old clock on the wall that was his father‘s. It doesn’t work unless you wind it up. But it could be dead for days and always at 2 o’clock it will start chiming. Wound up or not. We just look at each other and I say hi to his dad. And we both giggle and go on with our day.
