@stereogum: Last week Stereogum went to the Norwegian Consulate in Manhattan, where all Norwegian musicians live when they play Bowery Ballroom (someone fact check that), and we ran into @Sondre Lerche, the Bergen-born singer-songwriter who just released a lovely new album called ‘Acrobats.’ He’s on tour in the US this month before heading home for a run of shows in Norway. Sondre was kind enough to teach us how to pronounce the names of some other Stereogum-beloved Norwegian artists we have apparently been saying wrong for many years. We even practiced saying [ˈsɔndrə ˈlærkə] before the interview and still got it wrong.
