When you sing lead it sounds more country. When your mom sings lead it sounds more gospel. I love both versions

I heard mom singing this song years ago 💯. As long as she is in it, sounds good. Mother and son is a bonus 💕🤗. I've often sang this song around the house

I can’t pick a favourite. I’ve loved the song since O’Brother - but the switcheroo gives it a fresh sound. I’ll take a giant helping of both versions please thanks. [Fire]

I love both! I’ve always heard Ms. Suzanne as the lead in, “Oh Brother,” and other recordings/ concert videos, so in my brain mom on lead just sounds, “right.”😉🥰
