@matthewfoutz: I’m starting to feel bad for reps. There’s a reason why corporate is not saying anything. Because they’re having you do the dirty work for them. You have been told from the beginning by corporate that lab created and lab grown are different stones. That is not true. Google it. Ask Google does the FTC consider lab created and lab grown gemstones as the same thing? Are those terms interchangeable? I can’t tell if this company is just really inept or if this is the biggest hoax, the jewelry industry has ever seen. What is clear, is that reps are now spreading misinformation to their downlines which then gets repeated to customers. That’s making this situation worse. It should have just come out and said they messed up. But they refuse to take accountability for anything and so we will proceed. Also, not all of it is costume jewelry. And when you’re selling Halo with lab created moonstones, what you’re actually doing is selling a grieving widow a piece of glass. Lab created moonstones don’t exist. You are lying to a woman so you can sell her a piece of jewelry to commemorate her dead husband. That’s about as evil as it gets. This company is the poster child for how not to handle a crisis. Downline reps, who do you think knows more? Me or that diamond ranked Rep who is desperately trying to preserve that fat commission check? I’ve been in this industry for 30 years and my family’s been doing it for four generations. Also, Google is still free. I told you what prompt to use. Go to the FTC website yourself. Stop letting these people lie to you. Stop letting them force you to lie to your customers, which usually is your family and friends. Critical thinking would really help right about now.
