@ohanastory: Our newest washi tape preorder opens this Friday, September 18th at 12pm PT — and it’s a collection we are SO excited to share with you! Once again, it is designed by my sister Jenn from @createwithpen <3. I’ve been getting lots of help with designing new things! It’s actually the only way we have time to create so many new things recently and I’m here for it! So what is a preorder, exactly? Instead of printing a bunch of stock and hoping it sells, we open up a short window where you can purchase the designs you want ahead of time. Once the window closes, we take that final count to our manufacturer and have exactly what’s needed made — plus a bit extra. Why we do it this way for washi tapes We’re a small, family-run team, based in my parent’s basement and rolls and rolls of washi tape takes up a lot of space! A preorder lets us print close to exactly what’s needed, so more of what we make ends up in the hands of people who actually want it. How this one works ✨ Preorder opens: friday, september 18 at 12pm pt ✨ Preorder closes: monday, september 21 at 12pm pt ❄️ 10 new cozy christmas designs, plus a full bundle if you want the whole set You can order anytime during that window — there’s no advantage to ordering right at noon on friday versus sunday night, as long as it’s before the window closes monday at 12pm pt. UNLESS, our tiered freebies run out ^^” What happens after the preorder closes Once the window closes, we place our order with the manufacturer based on what was ordered. From there it’s production, then shipping to us, then we pack and ship every single order out ourselves — so it does take much longer. We’ll keep you posted on timing as we have it!
