@seattlehanddoc: They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, and that was definitely true when I met Wayne. 😂 Greek food has always been one of his absolute favorites, and I used to cook meals like this for him all the time. So when our friend Maria of @Maria Koutsogiannis sent us her NEW cookbook GREEK OUT, we knew exactly where to start. 🇬🇷 And let me tell you—this entire meal was INSANE. We made her Chicken Souvlaki with Greek salad, tzatziki + rice, AND her loaf-pan beef gyros—which might be one of the coolest cooking techniques we’ve tried. You know we LOVE sheet-pan cooking, chicken thighs + our loaf-pan meals—and Maria is no stranger to any of it. This cookbook is basically all the things you already know us for, but with Maria’s iconic Greek recipes. 🇬🇷 For the souvlaki, cubed boneless chicken thighs get tossed with olive oil, lemon, garlic, oregano, smoked paprika, cumin, pepper, chili flakes, turmeric, cinnamon, yellow mustard + FAGE Greek yogurt. Skewer, throw them on a sheet pan and into the oven. SO easy. We’ve been cooking Maria’s recipes for years, so seeing all of this finally come together in a cookbook is SO exciting. Greek food is her love language, and no one does it better.
