Honestly, in Ghana, staying in your parents’ house because you don’t pay rent may save you money, but sometimes you lose your independence. When you rent your own place, pay your own bills, and do your own thing, your parents and family see you differently and give you more respect. Nobody can force you to do what you don’t want. At the end of the day, independence comes with a different kind of respect. 💯🏠

It’s true but it has made some people very lazy cuz they know they are not paying any bills. Renting in GH has become so expensive if you don’t work hard err you will remain in your parents house forever. SMH.
