@paralleluniverse.ae: Is TROY (2004) Brad Pitt's greatest movie of all time? Before superheroes dominated the box office, Hollywood gave us larger-than-life warriors, legendary battles, doomed romances, and one of the most iconic historical epics of the 2000s. Directed by Wolfgang Petersen, Troy brings the legendary story of the Trojan War to the big screen, inspired by Homer’s Iliad. At the center of the conflict is Achilles, played by Brad Pitt, a fearless Greek warrior whose reputation is matched only by his ambition. When Paris of Troy, played by Orlando Bloom, takes Helen, played by Diane Kruger, from Sparta, the consequences are catastrophic. Helen’s husband, King Menelaus, demands her return, while his brother Agamemnon sees the situation as an opportunity to conquer Troy. Soon, thousands of Greek soldiers sail toward the legendary city, where they face Prince Hector, played by Eric Bana, Troy’s greatest defender and a warrior driven by duty rather than glory. What follows is an epic clash between Achilles and Hector, Greeks and Trojans, kings and soldiers, love and ambition. From the legendary Battle of Troy and the Trojan War to the iconic Trojan Horse, the film turns one of mythology’s greatest stories into a massive cinematic spectacle filled with sword fights, armies, betrayal, honor, romance, and unforgettable characters. But beneath all the armor and battlefield chaos, Troy is ultimately about the human desire to be remembered. Achilles doesn’t fear death. He fears being forgotten. And that idea makes his entire journey hit differently. With Brad Pitt as Achilles, Eric Bana as Hector, Orlando Bloom as Paris, Diane Kruger as Helen, and Peter O’Toole as King Priam, Troy remains one of the most recognizable historical epic movies, war films, and mythology-inspired films of its era. 🔥 TROY (2004) ⚔️ Brad Pitt as Achilles 🛡️ Eric Bana as Hector 🏛️ Orlando Bloom as Paris 👑 Diane Kruger as Helen 🎬 Directed by Wolfgang Petersen 📖 Inspired by Homer’s Iliad A man’s life is worth more than gold when his name lives forever.
