I inquired about an event and they wanted a $200 vendor fee 😭 I’d have to sell 67 cookies just to cover the vendor fee before I even start making a profit. And that’s not including ingredients, packaging, gas, card fees, or my time. 🥲

That’s so true! I’m in Broward too, selling German baked goods and pretzels. Markets are so exhausting and take up so much time, and then there are the vendor fees! I’m focusing more on pre orders through Hotplate now and only doing markets maybe once a month

I’ve been thinking about doing this. Alabama weather has limited the amount of markets we’ve done and it sucks! We just started doing drops on hotplate and it’s been really good so far. When you do pop ups at the apartment complexes etc do you use your tent set up? Or do you have like a cart or trailer?
