I had a moment similar to that one time. I kept thinking why do I keep struggling with this? I felt the Lord tell me “you just don’t know yet how much I can satisfy”. Everything he’s leading us into is ultimately bringing us deeper into knowing Him and knowing who we are. He is worthy of our trust and praise. 🙏

Reminds me of when God asked me a few years ago to forgive my Mum for leaving the family when I was 8. I was adamant and said ‘no’. He don’t give up, he would give words to people who would repeat ‘ God wants you to forgive your Mum’ I relented forgave her and felt a massive weight lift from my shoulders. Months passed and God asked me why I haven’t fully forgiven my Mum like I’d forgiven my Dad. That hit hard, thought I’d forgiven 100%, turns out it was 95%. That 5% of forgiveness carried such an unknown hidden weight. Thank you Jesus

it is also about the coffee, at least it was for me. I gave up coffee. it was an addiction. I had a headache if I did not drink coffee. now I have way more energy and I do not need coffee to function. I had to go through the abstinence period, the headache etc.. but now I am good. all addictions are wrong and offend God, even if they are small like coffee.

Thank you for sharing this. I was reading in Luke 10:38-42 Martha was busy doing many things, but the most important thing is sitting at Jesus feet and surrendering those things that hinders me from spending more time with him and growing in my walk with him.
