I think sadly for Joanna, Hyrox prioritised her sponsorship deals and the interest and money she draws rather than hers and all other athletes safety. If she wasn’t who she was I think they would have pulled her, like you said, they pull people for far less all the time.

It was her decision to continue knowing fine well she was spreading a biohazard as an adult, Her message after it was also ridiculous and took no mind of anyone else that would have had to use kit she soiled. This is an event you pay or are paid to do , it is on you to decide if it’s worth it. Hyrox should have stepped in and removed her when she failed to stop. It is absolutely disgusting

It’s her responsibility to look after her own personal hygiene, but absolutely, she should have been withdrawn. Hyrox is brilliant but at best it is a hygiene nightmare, and this is an extreme example of that.
