PSA🚨 Please make sure your using reverse osmosis water. Birds CANNOT have tap water or water found in ponds lakes or rivers as it contains pathogens and bacteria that will kill them

Vet tech here🙋🏽♀️wilds birds can have tap water and be fine. birds in captivity can be sensitive to fluoride and chlorine over time but generally it’s fine.

Even if it feels small, you’re helping the a lot of small critters by just being kind in such a heavy heatwave of a summer. Thank you so much! ^u^

My grandma had a decorative rotating thing in her bird bath I can’t remember it completely but it was solar powered and she always told me it helped keep the water fresh

still water is fine as long as you change it every second day or something, unless you live in the tropics where malaria and dengue fever can spread
