The lightening here in Florida this year has killed around 4 people or more already. 2 weeks ago, a woman and her 2 year old daughter. This is so devastating. These are dangerous times.

This happened the day we took my cousin off of life support because he was also struck by lightening in Orlando. My heart is broken. I hope they are able to recover. 💔

I’ve been in Orlando for 20 years and never have I ever seen so many victims of lightning strikes! This is unheard of! We are currently in our daily thunderstorm season and I have begun to stay inside or move quickly when there’s lightning strikes anywhere near where I am. This is so sad and so serious.

Dear meteorologists, you need to start sending out warnings like you do for tornadoes. This is ridiculous. How many people have to die before people learn to take lightning in the area seriously maybe if you start doing the annoying weather alert that blast across our phones and warns people to take shelter, you could save some lives get responsible, be responsible. Why do I have to come up with this idea?

guys please, if you see a dark grey cloud in the sky in summer in Fl-- STOP GOING OUTSIDE! every uear we say it, every year people are on the beach and walking trails when a storm is coming. check the weather, look up, listen, stay alive

Saw a daycare teacher get struck standing next to a metal gate while watching us play outside when i was 4 so I avoid being out during or holding anything 🫤

Literally in my car with my bf waiting for this rain to stop. All these incidents that have happened lately has scared the shit out of me. I’m a Florida native and have never seen or heard of this many lightning strikes
