I got caught up in some stuff with my ex and had a warrant. knew what I did was wrong and turned myself in. They told me there wasn't a judge that could see me until the next day so I'd be transported to the jail after closing time. They let me make a call and I called my manager at the time. Told him what happened asked him not to fire me and I'd do anything I could to make sure I made it to my shift the next day. He straight up told me don't worry about it you'll be out by this evening. 3 hours later I was in front of a judge that came to our restaurant regularly and I was released on an unsecured bond. Boss man was outside the courthouse main doors waiting for me and told me I wasn't the type to actually put in jail even for a night. I don't know what strings he pulled but I'm so grateful for him.

subway manager in HS bailed out a long time employee for a DUI at midnight and then drove him to work the next morning to work opening simply so he didn’t have to go thru the interview process to hire another guy

When I was 16 our manager at Wendy's made the cops take a coworker out the back of the restaurant with a jacket over the cuffs so customers wouldn't see and he could keep his job. Same manager followed them to the jail and bailed him out so he could make his shift the next day. RIP Dave. We miss you down here

all the line cooks lived together and partied pretty hard and their house was on my way in since I was manager I would get to work first lol I would wake them up every morning 😭 I didnt mind and they were all solid people, they just had a bit of a substance use issue but all around decent people.

Landed a management job and one of our receptionists came to me on a Monday upset- she got her 3rd dui over the weekend. Her and I both thought she’d be fired for sure, no way would the owners want someone with three DUI’s representing them. You know what they said? As long as she has enough time off to serve her jail sentence…..what do we care what she does in her spare time? 😂😂 She was actually fired though for stealing later on.

When I was running a restaurant, one of my managers got hit hard with some out of county stuff; We made him go to court, suffer the one night, and then me the owner and crew went and got him the next day. 😁 Dude has also been sober for 4 years now, Im proud of you Jordan!🍀

I was the manager for a Jewelry company and hired a 19 year old kid. He didn’t know shit about anything besides diamonds but kid had crazy charisma and personality. He made crazy sales and was always clocked in on time. His commission was always high. He called me when I was closing the store one Thursday and told me he was in jail for drug related charges. I bailed him out expeditiously and showed him the legal benefits the company provided to get him a good lawyer. Still one of the best hires I ever made.

First and only time I was arrested, I was with my boss and I looked at her and said well I probably won’t be making it to work tomorrow. Managed to get out and showed up anyways and she was like I WAS GETTING BAIL TOGETHER FOR YOU 😂😂
