I hate how people are so quick to point out that it’s a woman’s choice to be pregnant and have a child and go through the hardships of motherhood, as if we don’t have a right to complain. but they never criticize the man that abandoned the mother and that failed as a partner. Your feelings are valid and don’t let anybody tell you otherwise.

As a nurse just know we will help with her if we have time! I have had so many kids with me doing random things (of course that doesn’t break any HIPAA or violate any codes). You can ask them to print coloring pages or activities sheets! And always always ask for a snack and juice!

Please do not let anyone talk you down, it’s your first time living too your doing the best you can for your baby and that is enough, even on the days you do not want to do anything you get up and do them all because you want the best for your baby and that isn’t something all mothers can do for their babies, honey be proud of the person you are and the things you do. Your fighting every single day and yet you keep going, even on the days you can’t be proud of yourself know this stranger on an app is proud of you every day, you aren’t alone in this. I don’t know why but I could be the happiest and at peace in life but once there is an emergency and I’m all alone with my babies in the hospital in the middle of the night I feel so much resentment towards my bds.

Co parenting father here, she cheated on me, and yes the fatigue be crazy. I work overnight just so I can have optimum time for father duties. Bless your awesome heart

I hate when people automatically assume when you’re a single mom that it’s because you picked a bad father. I’m a single mom in my 20s because he passed away. Not everything is the mom’s fault.

Ages 0-5 are the hardest years, and trust I’m a pediatric ER nurse and single parent. I understand. It was just me for majority of my daughter’s life. If I had to go to the ER, my mind only thought about my daughter. It gets easier when they get older. 💕
