***you’re thinking of when he says it in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Harry does tell Marv that Central Park gives him the creeps.*** You’re welcome 👍🏻

The debate over the Home Alone church scene isn't a Mandela Effect—it's modern corporate editing. In the original film, Marv and Harry look for Kevin, and one says, "Nah, that place gives me the creeps." Studios have since edited this line out of streaming platforms like Disney+ to avoid religious insensitivity, but the original dialogue still exists on older VHS tapes and DVDs. This proves viewer memory is accurate; the movie was simply altered later.

Y'all be creating these "Mandela affects" on your own out of poor memory - that line is absolutely from Home Alone 2, in reference to going into Central Park at night

when are people going to learn that not all movie edits are the same between VHS and DVD? it's not a Mandela Effect... it's just bad editing

Oh! And Animaniacs’ food ingredient song. Our kids were raised on the original VHS’ so when we got the DVDs they were not happy with the change. 😂 “Shove them in our mouths until they make our bodies rot” was changed to “So remember it’s your body and the only one you’ve got.” 🤦♀️

Anyone here see The Nightmare Before Christmas in Theatres before they changed that one verse? I wonder if it was edited in some countries? In Kill Mr Santa Clause, we only ever heard the “Cut him open, look inside and see what makes him tick” verse in theatres.
