We hide our true feelings and pretend everything is fine. Others don’t see our pain, because we carry it inside our hearts. Even in the pain, there is love we keep concealed, so we hide everything. We started talking as usual, carrying what we feel inside—how broken into pieces and shattered we are. But we carry it all quietly, because we don’t think others can feel what we feel or understand the pain we carry.
