Traders and analysts might watch the Daily Treasury Statement to see if the TGA balance drained on buyback settlement days, as well as weekly bill issuance announcements to see if T-bill or cash management bill issuance increases to match the purchases. But the OFFICIAL record comes in the quarterly refunding statement...which it just so happens is slated to be released the day after the midterm elections 👀

you went too fast at the end. i was following up until the third option. it exceeds the cash it’s getting in but the red part is smaller? if it exceeds the amount it’s getting in, doesn’t it need to issue more debt to make up for it? ( do #1 and #2 to be able to do #3?)
