@humanebroward: Oh sweetie 🥺🙏 At just one years old, Mocha should be enjoying the carefree days of puppyhood. Instead, she finds herself looking for a new family after being surrendered when her owner could no longer care for her 😔 The shelter has been overwhelming for this sensitive girl, and sadly she does not show well in her kennel, but once she’s outside, her loving personality shines ❤️ Mocha is friendly, energetic, affectionate, easy to leash, walks nicely by your side, and appears to be housebroken. She loves attention, toys, treats, and belly rubs, happily rolling over to soak up affection. Still young and full of enthusiasm, she’ll do best with adults or older teens who can continue helping her learn polite manners 🙏 Mocha has never lived with another dog , so we would recommend a meet and greet here at the shelter if you already have one, but her former owner told us that Mocha enjoys the company of cats. Most of all, she needs a patient family who can look beyond the stress that shelter life is causing her and see the sweet, loyal companion waiting to blossom 🌸 If you’re looking for a loving young dog with a playful spirit and a heart full of affection, Mocha could be the perfect match.
