CAN WE KNOW THE SEASON OF JESUS’ RETURN? ⏰✝️A question I’ve been thinking about is this; We know the Bible says that we do not know the day or the hour when Jesus Christ will return. But does that mean we are not supposed to know anything about the season? I don’t believe that’s what Scripture teaches. Jesus Himself said; “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” Matthew 24:36 KJV So no; we cannot give you a date. We cannot tell you the exact day. We cannot tell you the exact hour. But notice what Jesus said just a few verses earlier; “So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.” Matthew 24:33 KJV Jesus told us to watch for the signs. He even said; “Ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?” Matthew 16:3 KJV That tells me something important. Jesus does not want His people walking around completely unaware of what is happening. He wants us watching, praying, staying awake spiritually, and recognizing the signs He gave us. In Matthew 24, Jesus spoke about things that would happen before His return; Wars and rumours of wars; Nation rising against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; Famines; Pestilences; Earthquakes; Persecution of believers; False prophets; Deception; The love of many growing cold; And the Gospel being preached among all nations. Jesus said; “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” Matthew 24:6 KJV Then He continued to explain what would happen. But we have to be careful. Just because we see something happening in the world does not mean we can automatically say, “This is it. Jesus is coming on this exact date.” Jesus never gave us permission to do that. Instead, He told us to watch. “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” Matthew 24:42 KJV Paul also told believers; “Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.” 1 Thessalonians 5:6 KJV So can we know the exact day? No. Can we know the exact hour? No. Can we recognize

Can we know the exact hour? No. Can we recognize that we are living in a time where we should be spiritually awake and paying attention to the signs Jesus gave us? Absolutely. The point is not to predict the date. The point is to be ready. Because whether Jesus returns tomorrow, next year, or many years from now, the question we should all be asking is; “Am I ready to meet Him?” Jesus said; “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” Matthew 24:44 KJV So I’m not going to tell you that I know when Jesus is coming. I don’t. Nobody does. But I will tell you this; Jesus told us to watch. He told us to recognize the signs. He told us to stay awake. He told us to be ready. And I would rather be ready for Jesus and find out I was watching too early than spend my life ignoring His warning and find out I was not ready when He came. Jesus is coming back. We don’t know the day. We don’t know the hour. But we know His promise. So let’s stop trying to predict the date and start making sure our hearts are ready. WATCH. PRAY. BELIEVE. STAY READY. Because one day, whether we expect it or not; Jesus Christ is coming back. ✝️❤️“Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” Revelation 22:20 KJV
