hi, kiwi here. its kiwi not kiwi bird. the fruit is named after the bird, so it is just kiwi, not kiwi bird. what americans call a kiwi is actually called a kiwifruit

fun fact their eggs are about the size of an ostrich egg. and they also technically have the shortest beak of all birds because a birds beak is traditionally measured from nostril to tip and kiwi birds have nostrils at the end of their beak
