I trained just like all the other K9 officers. I learned obedience, scent tracking, search drills, and crowd control. I gave everything I had — heart, focus, loyalty. Every single day, I showed up ready to prove that a Pit Bull can do anything when given a chance. 💪🐶 And guess what? I made it. I earned my spot. I even received an award for my service — a medal that meant “You did it.” 🥇 But when the ceremony ended… no one clapped. No pats on the head. No smiling faces. Just silence. Maybe some people still see the breed before they see the heart. Maybe “Pit Bull” still sounds scary to ears that haven’t learned the truth yet. But I don’t need the applause. Because I know who I am. I know what I’ve done.
