@maddiekempmusic: i think it’ll take me awhile to truly process singing the national anthem for the Chicago Cubs. everything happens for a reason, and i feel a lot of the things that went on in the background this year unknowingly helped really prepare me for this moment. multiple people have said something to me along the lines of “you know it’s not everyone that gets asked to sing at the Cubs game.” and they are right. this was a crazy accomplishment. one i am so grateful for. things i have prayed about coming to fruition right before my very eyes. something i got to experience right beside people who love me and want to see me take this all the way. i have @zahra🍒 to thank for finding me. y’all when i tell you she sought me out!! and took care of me every step of the way. shoutout to @CJ MOORE for coming along as my videographer and friend. the night before when the reality was settling in, CJ talked to me for hours. talked me out of anxiety and into the fact that i am meant to be doing this. i have learned so much and i will continue to live in this light. i want to experience everything this life has to offer me. we got big plans y’all. i’ll be talking about this for awhile, and i’ll be sure to tell you all about what got me here. stay in touch, xo Mad shot by 🎥 @Moore Visuals 🥷🏼 song is 2 Grown 4 That by Maddie Kemp song was produced by @mrk.x.wrds @nubiasanaa my beautiful friend⭐️ @Pamela K mama showed support ❤️
