This hurts my heart. I grew up going to shows at the Kennedy Center. I saw the National Symphony Orchestra, Les Mis, Denise Graves as Carmen… so many ballets .. so many great shows …this is a DC institution that has shaped and enriched the minds and lives of so many children … we have to save it!

I’ve been seeing 3 operas a year since I met my husband (fancy pants singer) and while this place needed some renovations, it was NEVER as broken as they made it seem. It houses multiple theaters and public outdoor spaces and losing all of it is insane
