The problem is when you’ve done something for 10 or 20 years, you stop seeing it as a skill somebody might actually pay for. Save these 5 prompts and run them in the same Claude chat: 1️⃣ FIND MY OPTIONS “I want more income options but don’t know where to start. Interview me ONE question at a time about my career, experience, skills, income, interests and available time. Then give me the 3 most realistic ways I could increase my income and tell me which you’d try first.” 2️⃣ WHAT AM I WORTH? “Based on my role, experience, industry and location, estimate a realistic compensation range and identify skills I could develop that might increase my earning potential. Tell me what information I should independently verify.” 3️⃣ FIND SKILLS I’M OVERLOOKING “Based on everything I’ve told you, identify 5 skills I already have that people or businesses pay for, including things I probably think are ‘just part of my job.’ Show me one realistic way I could monetize each.” 4️⃣ LOOK OUTSIDE MY JOB “I have [X] hours a week. Give me 3 realistic ways I could use my existing experience to build income outside my job. Tell me what I could offer, who might pay for it and the first thing I’d need to do.” 5️⃣ MAKE ME ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING 😂 “Give me ONE thing I can do this week to start creating another income option. It must take less than 2 hours. Show me exactly how AI can help me complete it.” Then actually do #5. You don’t necessarily need to quit your job or completely reinvent yourself.
