Honestly like McCarthy approach on topic. He is creating reasonable heat and forcing his hand. Meaning he’s under contract so going to treat it as such. When his “back hurts” aka as ego hurts about money it makes him less valuable to other teams. Also we resigned multiple players from the same draft class. And arguably as an outsider he should have been first. So that also creates caution from other teams. My only thing I don’t want is the demand a trade and we get Pennys how we have in the past. Make it uncomfortable for ppl to honor their contract and then if we want to be petty. Franchise tag him next year.
