He said advanced AI could eventually improve itself faster than humans could keep up. “Humans, who are limited by slow biological evolution, couldn't compete, and would be superseded.” His warning is resurfacing as Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei calls for slowing the development of increasingly powerful AI, a push backed by Elon Musk and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.
