My step mother and me both have seen the hat man in the same house at different times when I was a kid. I remember waking up in the middle of the night and I couldn’t move, it was standing in the doorway of the bedroom staring at me and then I blinked and it was gone and I could move again. I was about 8-9 years old at the time. Neither of us knew the other saw it until a couple of years ago when I told her about seeing it at her house and she told me she’s seen him a handful of times in her house. She owns a home that was once a plantation home, there’s also entities in her basement which was once slave quarters.

my heart sank when i saw the pic bc i saw him at the foot of my bed years ago!! i got so scared i thought it was my husband i smacked him but he was sleeping, i had him turn the light on to see if it was gone i was hiding under the covers, havent seen it since ..no meds taken either

My only experience with the Hat Man was when I was going through a manic episode where I was awake for three days, and on that third night, as I was driving, he was sitting in the back seat of my car. Like, bro... You're not even gonna offer to pay me gas money? I was so annoyed.

I used to see him all the time in my dreams in my early 20s. The best way I know how to describe him is pure doom. He isn’t a demon, and once you get over a life lesson he usually stops showing up. You can also will him away, since you feel him before you see him.
