sigh. neitzche is outdated. Nature is not a moral court. It does not punish “evil”; it does not even punish “weakness.” It simply favors whatever can adapt, reproduce, or dominate in a given ecology. But “weak” and “evil” are not natural species. they are interpretations produced by different power-centers. The master calls his overflow “good” and the resentful “bad." the slave calls the master “evil” and his own impotence “good.” A lion can call the hyena a scavenging coward. the hyena can call the lion a wasteful tyrant. the herd calls both predators evil. Each label is true only relative to a standard: force, cunning, self-mastery, social power or life-affirmation. So before agreeing that nature says “the weak must be eliminated,” you must admit you are not describing nature. you are legislating a value. Nature has no “must.” If you choose power as your standard, then a police officer punching a defenseless woman may be strong in brute force but weak in self-command, low tier human without advanced pre frontal cortex. an old man assaulting a girl may be predatory but pathetic in impulse control. both social contagions in human order and nature. Nietzsche may be weak in action but strong in diagnosis. The real question is never “who is weak?” in the abstract, but “weak according to which perspective, for what end, in which environment?” we are unconscious of how our categories of good/evil/strong/weak are created by power. To become conscious is to stop pretending our perspective is nature’s. It is to own it as a perspective in humanity nature and then ask whether it is noble, reactive, creative, or just resentment dressed in the language of strength.
