I was flying to Chicago for the opening of the Obama library and dipped out a day early to catch a cheaper flight. I responded to an email from a way higher up at 10 am saying that I was "busy with meetings all day" and would catch him on Monday. My boss responded to the same email and said "same here! Let's circle back Monday!". Imagine my surprise when I stepped off the plane in Chicago and locked eyes with my boss. He just held a finger to his lips and waved. [Laugh approved][Laugh approved] Turns out, he was in Chicago for a music festival.
