I once ordered dippy eggs at a cracker barrel. It was the first one built in lancaster and it was freshly opened. I think the woman serving me was from out of state and only there to help with the grand opening. She looked at me like I spoke a different language. That was the first time I knew we speak different here, lol

I vividly remember the first time I left the state of PA and ordered eggs. when they asked how I wanted them cooked I said "dippy," and they told me they didn't know what that meant. I was so confused, so I just said scrambled.
