Elbert looking like a sea of lemon lime with a splash of orange 🍋🍋‍🟩🍊 Colors definitely coming through here above 10,000’ below Colorado’s highest peak, but compared to previous seasons, I’m noticing a lot more bare trees in pockets. I didn’t really film those here, but driving the forest roads below, it’s odd to see bare trees this early. Still gorgeous, but 2026’s drought is clearly having an effect on how quickly the leaves are turning and falling off. Happy chasing 🍂 #colorado #fallcolors #travelphotography #autumn #fall
