I used to be labelled as “too strict “ because sometimes I say no even if I can afford to get him something as a lesson that sometimes the answer is no. I have taught him that no is a full sentence and I don’t or anyone else does not have to explain their no. He will be 15 this month and I have already (since beginning of puberty) taught him the concept of consent. Any opportunity I get I use daily situations to teach him consent !!!! I will not raise a dead beat father. I will not raise a rapist. I will not raise a killer and an abuser. So help me God!
