@erinandpaulfly: There’s not many places on earth where you can see beluga whales, polar bears, and northern lights all in one place🤯 While we got super lucky and got to see all three, there are seasons for them 🐋 Beluga whales- June-August 🐻‍❄️Polar Bears- October- November 🌌northern lights- winter months Also this was one of those flights that resulted in a bit more planning: passports, international border crossing paperwork/timeslots, and a heavy emphasis on fuel preparation. Not every airport has fuel and when the number of airports starts to slim down, the further north you go, the more important preparation, for a flight like this, needs to be! **also side note for pilots, if you talk to the airport manager a while in advance, they can train 100LL up to Churchill for groups flying in! @Lycoming Engines
