All I know is, when a helicopter has to land on the highway, it’s usually a serious emergency. EMS transfers the patient to the helicopter, and then they fly them directly to the appropriate hospital or trauma center. Hope they are ok 🙏🏽

They need to fix that exit!! I missed this by a few minutes yesterday. Exit 28 is too short and backs up onto 84 causing these accidents. I've ridden the shoulder many times just to get off the highway.

saw that once heading back from rockland County up I-87. both sides of the road stopped for a helicopter to come down after 1 trucker ran so hard into the back of another that the box from the truck that got hit was on top of the trucker that hit it.

They landed one on the old Tappan zee like 30 years ago. I was stuck on the bridge for hours. I’ll never forget

I used to travel that route for work..had the helicopter 3 times in five years.. 2-3 hrs delay..peeing in a cup in the car is very hard for a woman.. lol
