I went to Germany last summer. I learned German for this trip. I spoke German to them and they all spoke English back to me. 🙃

as a British, I have to say most Germans speak better grammar than the British. And as a British I would have to say no way have to play was Canadians, British, Australians & Americans … the only ones there who didn’t speak German would’ve been just Americans !

So like how do you get lost watching the passion play, in any language. 🤣🤣🤣 If you know what that is I assume you are Catholic, and that means you have been going to some version of that every year since joining the church (as a child for me). It might be a little different, but it is basically the same everywhere! Only one way Jesus died.

I watch a lot of German movies with subtitles and halfway thru, I find I understand it relatively well. Could I speak it? Oh, no. But it’s one of the more understandable languages.
