You can also make your own experience by doing PROJECTS. Projects is the most important.

I am looking at internships now. Some of them I see are already expecting you to have experience in everything. I have only had experience with java. That is it, I am a junior(in cs)how am I suppose to have entry level experience at a internship level.🙄

I have my BS and computer science, but had to work throughout college so did not do any internships. I’ve been graduated for the last year and a half and I’ve had zero luck. I’m really leaning into IT but not sure if I should do any certifications.

Not going Cyber but working on finishing the 3rd step which is getting my CCNA. Sit for it Oct 10th so wish me luck. One thing I would add is building projects to show you can solve business problems. I’ve been doing this while studying for the CCNA and I’ve been getting more interview invitation’s.

what type of advice would you have for someone who has a non traditional path? For example I have my associates in computer science, did an apprentice program in data analytics for 6 months and now I’m an intern at a big tech company, just debating my next step in case a return offer isn’t feasible. Should I pursue a bachelors or stack work experience before seeking full time roles (I.e internships)

Get your foot in the door, it also is a testament of “would you do this for free”, which is a big test to pass

Great video but the 3rd tip is so niche to you, not everyone is going to a community college that is offering volunteer work. I’d say projects can make up for the lack of experience.
