But Andre 3000 was actually calling out the music industry of the 2000s: how safe, watered-down, and afraid to say anything real it had become. Avenged Sevenfold, one of my all time favorite band, has several political songs and theyre all bangers imo. Critical Acclaim, M.I.A., Sunny Disposition, The Stage, and We Love You. Id say M.I.A is the most popular of this list followed by Critical Acclaim. In short: M.I.A take on is Anti-war and the realities and futility of war. Critical Acclaim is about "It defends U.S. troops and criticizes people who complain about the country or oppose wars without serving". I didnt understand the meaning of these songs until you started this series, its always so cool whatever song you choose and the actual meaning behind them. Just wanted to share this bit cause for me I love learning new things and anything music 😁 also sorry of this comment is quite long jdbsjx
