So many people here are being so crazy. Yes flaking off in normal, it’s like a little sunburn kinda. Dont pick at it ever, put a LITTLE bit of lotion on it a couple of times a day and rub it in well. Don’t overdo it dont overthink it.

Peeling is part of the healing process, keep in mind it's a scab, millions of puncture wounds, you can feel that it isnt flush with your skin yet, it's just the scab/ink/dead skin! Nothing to worry about, if you peel it off you can go deeper than just what's on the surface and have a spot in it that looks a little off. Just keep it moisturized and let it do what it's doing! (Speaking from experience on the picking / peeling it off, i can show you)

yeah thats pretty normal, also black will pretty much all turn into a shade of almost a light blue Hugh Grey, if ya want it totally dark asf then probably need a artist who specializes in blackout tattoos, its a whole different way of getting the ink deep asf but not scaring is tough so the people who are really good artist who cost hella money, are usually worth it but it all depends on what exactly you get done and where on the body it is, skin is different thickness in different areas, alot of things to account for

One of mine kinda did flake off a bit during the healing process and I wasn't scratching or anything cuz it didn't even itch. I just increased my moisturizer application a bit more and it was fine
